Tara Cowling, MA (Oxon), MSc
Tara has over thirteen years’ health outcomes research experience in both public sector and industry. Tara worked for five years with Alberta Health Services as the Lead of the Clinical Data Services Team, where her team prepared, collected and analyzed prospective patient data. Prior to this role, Tara worked in the UK for five years in HTA/Market Access roles for AstraZeneca UK, Wyeth UK and IMS Health UK in preparing brand submissions to National market access organizations. In addition, Tara gained experience as a Research Fellow for Clinical Guidelines at the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) in London, UK.
Tara obtained her M.Sc. (2003) from McMaster University in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience and Psychiatry where she was awarded the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council – Graduate Scholarship. Prior to this Tara gained her B.A. (2000) and M.A. (2004) in Physiological Sciences from Balliol College at The University of Oxford.
Tara is a member of the American Medical Writer's Association (AMWA) and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Reseach (ISPOR).
