Kelly joined MEDLIOR in 2017 as a Research Associate. She pairs health research experience with clinical expertise to deliver projects with meaningful results. Kelly began her training as a board certified Athletic Therapist in Canada. Later, Kelly obtained her MSc and PhD in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida. While a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary, Dr. Larkin-Kaiser received multiple awards for her work in health research. This research focused on the structural and functional alterations that occur within skeletal muscle in response to aging, therapeutic intervention and disease, and has resulted in numerous publications. Since 2012, she has also been a valued instructor at the University of Calgary in the Faculty of Kinesiology. Kelly is a member of the Canadian and Albertan Athletic Therapists Associations and The Canadian and International Societies of Biomechanics.
