As a data scientist at Medlior, Nicole is responsible for database management and creating meaningful datasets for research purposes by extracting, merging and manipulating data.
Prior to joining Medlior, Nicole gained valuable experience in health research at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and Better Outcomes & Registry Network (BORN) Ontario, where she helped clinicians evaluate treatment programs and determine best medical practices. Later, Nicole joined the Medical Council of Canada where she contributed to the assessment of physicians in Canada. Nicole’s love of coding and working with data and strong attention to detail is applied to all her research projects.
Nicole obtained a BA from the University of Saskatchewan, and an MA from Carlton University, where she studied cognitive psychology.
